Era Infra Engineering Limited has a presence out here in Village Barasarsa. We are located near the Itachuna post office in the Hooghly district. It is a green area with plenty of open space, which is good for the kind of engineering work we handle. Our setup is fairly basic. We have an office where we keep track of the equipment and the workers who come in and out for various projects. There are no shiny glass windows or air conditioning that works perfectly all the time. Instead, we have ceiling fans and plenty of paper files stacked on the desks. We spend a lot of time talking to the local people and making sure the trucks don't block the narrow roads too much. Dealing with the rain in West Bengal can be a challenge for our projects, but we are used to it by now. The office is the hub where we drink tea and decide what needs to happen next on the site. We don't do much marketing or advertising because the work usually speaks for itself when people see the bridges or roads being built. It’s a practical way to run a business. We just show up, do the engineering tasks required, and try to keep everything running smoothly without too much fuss. Sometimes the internet is slow, but we still manage to get the reports sent out eventually. It's just a regular workplace for us and we like it that way.
