Eqbal Ahmed & Co. is located at 11/1, Topsia Road (South). If you know this area, you know it’s where a lot of the heavy lifting happens. We’re right in the thick of things. Our daily routine involves a lot of checking invoices and making sure the warehouse is moving at the right speed. It’s an industrial vibe here, not a place for fancy shoes. We’ve got trucks coming in and out at all hours, and the ground is usually a bit dusty. Inside, it’s mostly just desks, phones, and a lot of samples scattered around. We don’t spend money on fancy decorations because we’d rather just get the work done. The heat can be pretty bad in the summer, especially with the metal roof, but we have a few big fans that help. We’ve been at this address for a long time, so most of the neighbors are like friends now. We talk about the local news and complain about the traffic on Topsia Road together. It’s a very straightforward business. We don't use any big words or try to impress anyone. If you need something, you just ask, and we see if we have it in the back. It’s a bit messy, a bit loud, and very busy, but it keeps us going every day and we wouldn't know what else to do with ourselves.
