Elegant Furniture

Our shop, Elegant Furniture, is located at 99/52 on Jessore Road in Dum Dum. We actually have two floors here, the ground floor and the first floor, so there is quite a bit of walking up and down the stairs for us throughout the day. Jessore Road is a major route, so it is always noisy and dusty from the construction and the buses. We have been in Dum Dum for a while and have seen the area change quite a bit. Inside the shop, we keep a variety of furniture pieces spread out across both levels. It is not a showroom with perfect lighting; it is more like a place where stuff is stored and sold. Sometimes the stairs are a bit narrow when we are trying to move a heavy wardrobe up or down, which can be a real workout. We don't have a big staff, so we do most of the heavy lifting and cleaning ourselves. It is a bit of an older building, and you can tell by looking at the ceiling or the corners, but it serves us well. Most of our customers are families from around the Jessore Road area who just need a decent table or a cupboard that will last. We keep things honest and simple here. We don't believe in using fancy sales tricks. We just show you the furniture, tell you the price, and that is that.
