Electronica India Limited

Working out of Poddar Hmp House at 4 Fairlie Place means being right in the middle of everything. Electronica India Limited has been in this building for a good bit. It’s one of those older places with high ceilings and hallways that seem to go on forever if you aren’t paying attention. The lift is a bit temperamental sometimes, so some of us just take the stairs to the fourth floor to save time and get a bit of exercise. Fairlie Place is always crowded with people rushing around, especially during the lunch hour when everyone spills out onto the street. You can hear the city sounds even through the windows. Inside our space, it’s a lot of paperwork and people talking on phones. We’ve got desks piled with folders and a coffee machine that’s seen better days, but it still makes a decent cup when you need one. It’s not the quietest office, but we like the energy of the area. Sometimes the fans overhead make a clicking sound that we’ve all stopped noticing. It’s just a regular workplace where we try to stay organized. Being at number 4 means we’re easy to find, even if the traffic nearby is a mess. We just keep at it, day after day, making sure things get done. There is always something new happening outside on the street, and we just watch it from our windows.
