ELECTRICAL TRADE CENTRE

Our place is on the ground floor of 49 Ezra Street. If you’ve ever been down this way, you know how it is. Cables everywhere, people hauling carts, and constant shouting. It’s the heart of the electrical trade here, and we’ve been part of it for a long time. The shop itself is a bit cramped because we try to fit as much as we can into the space. We’ve got stacks of components and different types of gear piled up high. It’s not the most organized looking place, but we usually know where everything is. My cousin helps out with the accounts, though he’s usually more interested in the snacks from the vendor across the street. We get all kinds of people coming in, from big contractors to guys just needing a single bulb. It's noisy and dusty, but it feels right to be here. We don't have a website or any of that new stuff. People just walk in and ask for what they need. Sometimes we sit out front when it’s not too hot and talk to the other shop owners. It’s a community, I guess you could say. Every day is pretty much the same, just moving stock and making sure the orders are ready for pickup. It's honest work and keeps us busy from morning till the shutters go down. We’ve stayed in the same spot for decades.
