Eduguide

Eduguide is located at 421, R.N. Guha Road in Kolkata. We are quite near Nager Bazar, which is always a hub of activity. Finding our building isn't too hard, but the traffic around here can be a bit much during office hours. The space we have is simple. We have a couple of rooms where we've put in some basic chairs and tables. It’s nothing like those big coaching centers you see in the ads. We started this place with just a few students and it’s grown a bit since then, but we still keep it very informal. The walls have some old posters about grammar and math formulas that have been there for years. Sometimes the power goes out, and we have to wait a few minutes for the backup to kick in or just open the curtains wide. We don't have a receptionist, so if the phone rings, one of us just stops what we’re doing to answer it. It’s a bit of a DIY setup. We handle all the subjects ourselves or with a couple of helpers who come in part-time. It’s a practical place for kids in the neighborhood to come and get their doubts cleared. We stay open late most nights, especially when there’s a big exam coming up for the local schools.
