Ecko Cable Pvt. Ltd.

Ecko Cable Pvt. Ltd. is based out of C-113 in Phase Vii of Mohali. This is an industrial area, so we are surrounded by other factories and workshops. The sound of machinery is pretty much the background music of our lives here. Our unit is mostly taken up by the equipment we use to make the cables, so the office part is actually quite small. It smells like metal and sometimes a bit of heated plastic, which is just the way a cable factory should smell. We have been in Mohali for a long time, and we have seen the phase grow and change around us. Most of our workers live nearby, and we have a fairly steady routine starting early in the morning before the sun gets too hot. The floor is concrete and often has bits of wire or insulation scattered about, no matter how much we sweep. We don’t have a marketing team or anyone to write fancy brochures for us. We just focus on making sure the cables are the right length and thickness for whatever job they are needed for. Sometimes the machines act up and we have to spend half the day fixing them, but that is just part of the trade. We are just a local Mohali business trying to make a decent product and keep our heads above water.
