You can find Eastman Teft Engg. Pvt. Ltd. at number 1, British Indian Street. It’s one of those old buildings that has a lot of history in the walls, though we don’t think about that much while we’re working. The street is narrow and always packed with people and vendors. It can be a bit of a struggle to get through sometimes, especially in the afternoons. Our office is tucked away inside. It’s a functional space, nothing fancy at all. We have our desks, our files, and the usual office equipment. It gets a bit dusty because of the construction nearby, but we keep it tidy enough. Most of our day is spent on engineering drawings or looking over project specs. It’s quiet work for the most part. We aren't a big corporation with hundreds of employees. We’re a smaller group and we’ve known each other for a long time. The fans hum overhead while we go through our tasks. Sometimes we grab tea from the stall downstairs. It’s a very local way of working. We don't have a glossy brochure or a big website. We just focus on the engineering side of things. It’s been our home for a while now and we’re used to the quirks of the building. It’s just a regular workplace where we try to stay organized and get through the week.
