You can find us at 14/1 Kali Prosad Chakraborty Street in the Baghbazar area of North Kolkata. It is a very old part of the city with narrow lanes and a lot of history. We have been here at Eastern Setcrete Pvt. Ltd for years. Our building is one of those traditional ones, and it can get a bit dark inside, but it stays cooler than the street. We work with concrete products and construction stuff. It is heavy work and often leaves us pretty tired by the evening. The street outside is usually busy with people and rickshaws, especially during the festival seasons. We handle all the private limited company paperwork from this office, though a lot of the real work happens elsewhere on site. We do not have a polished showroom. It is mostly just desks, phones, and samples of what we do. Sometimes the monsoons cause the street outside to get a bit waterlogged, which makes things difficult for a few days. We just do our best to keep the deliveries on track. It is a simple operation run by people who have lived in West Bengal their whole lives. We do not use any complicated jargon. We just talk to our customers, figure out what they need for their buildings, and try to get it done. It has been our way of doing things for a long time now and we just keep at it.
