Dunlop India Ltd Ruia Group

We are located over on Dover Road in Kolkata, specifically in Flat 3B. It’s a residential-feeling area but we’ve got our office set up here for the Ruia Group. We’ve been associated with the Dunlop name for quite a while. Most of the work involves managing the different aspects of the business and keeping the records straight. Kolkata is a city with a lot of history, and we feel like we are a small part of that. The office is pretty simple, with old-fashioned desks and plenty of files. We don’t have a big flashing sign outside. It’s more of a quiet place where the real work happens behind the scenes. We deal with a lot of administrative stuff every day. The tea guy comes around in the morning, and that’s usually when we plan out the day. It’s not a high-pressure corporate environment, but we do keep ourselves busy. Sometimes the fans are a bit noisy, but you get used to it. We just focus on the tasks at hand and try to stay organized. It’s a group of regular people doing their jobs. We’ve seen the neighborhood change over the years, but our routine stays mostly the same. It’s practical, straightforward, and we like it that way. We've been at 2 C Dover Road for years now and it feels like part of our identity. We just keep moving forward one day at a time.
