We are located right near the Dumdum Metro Station, which makes it pretty easy for people to find us once they get off the train. The office is at number 81 in Swamijinagar, just a short walk from the Sethbagan Post Office. It’s a busy area with a lot of people moving around all the time. We handle a lot of scientific equipment, mostly glass tubes, beakers, and those kinds of things that schools and labs need. It’s a bit of a delicate business because everything we touch is liable to break if you aren’t careful. We spend a lot of our time wrapped up in straw and bubble wrap, making sure the crates are packed tight. The building itself is older, and the stairs can be a bit of a climb when you’re carrying a heavy box. We’ve been in Dum Dum for a long time, and we know most of the people around Sethbagan. It’s not a corporate setup with suits and ties; we’re usually in our shirtsleeves trying to find where a specific catalog went. The phone rings a lot, and it’s usually someone looking for a specific size of flask or a certain chemical grade. We just do our best to find it in the back room. It’s a lot of manual work, checking lists and making sure the labels don't peel off in the humidity. We just keep at it day after day.
