Phoenix Impex

We operate out of the first floor at No. 376A in Dum Dum Park. It’s a residential area mostly, so it’s a bit quieter than being right on the main road. Phoenix Impex is basically just an office where we handle paperwork and coordinate shipments. We don’t have a shop front with windows or anything like that. Most of our day is spent on the phone or sending emails to suppliers and customers. There are boxes everywhere because we often get samples in. It’s a bit of a climb up the stairs, and the light in the hallway is a bit dim, but once you're inside, it’s a functional space. We started this because we saw an opening in the market for importing specific goods that were hard to find. It was a struggle at first, getting all the licenses and finding people we could trust. Now we have a steady routine. We aren't a giant corporation with hundreds of employees. It's just a small group of us sitting at our desks. Sometimes we share a meal together in the small pantry at the back. Dum Dum Park is a nice locality, and we’ve made some good friends among the other business owners nearby. It’s just honest work, keeping track of logistics and making sure things get where they need to go. It keeps us busy and we don't really have time for much else.
