You can find us on the second floor of Geetanjali Apartment. We are located on Hatiara Road in the Hela-Battala area of Kolkata, 700059. Dtdc Courier & Cargo Ltd has a lot of branches, and this is our spot. Hatiara Road is always full of people, rickshaws, and noise, so it is never a dull moment looking out the window. Since we are on the second floor, we have to carry some of the smaller parcels up and down the stairs, which keeps us moving. The office is mostly filled with weighing scales, scanners, and piles of envelopes. It is a bit of a squeeze when we have a lot of cargo coming in at once. We don't have any polished marble floors or fancy lights. It is just a workspace with some fans and old desks. We spend our days booking shipments and answering questions from people who walk in. The air gets a bit thick with the smell of packing tape and cardboard sometimes. We have a routine that works for us, even if it looks a bit messy to an outsider. People in the apartment building are used to the constant flow of couriers coming in and out. We just try to keep things moving and get the paperwork sorted before the day ends. It is a busy, slightly loud, but honest way to spend the day in Kolkata, and we have been doing it for years now.
