We have been operating Dtdc Courier & Cargo Ltd from this spot for a good while now. Our office is located at C/O Surya Kr Kar, 2/1/1, First Lane in Jaffarpur More. It is a busy little corner of Nonachandanpukur, right here in Barrackpore. If you know West Bengal, you know how these lanes can get during the monsoon season. We spend a lot of our day just moving boxes around and checking the addresses on the parcels. It is not a very quiet job because the trucks and bikes are always coming and going. The building belongs to Surya Kr Kar and we have our setup on the ground floor. The office isn't much to look at. Most people just find us because they live nearby or they've been told where the first lane is. The work is mostly about sorting through the cargo that arrives in the morning. We have to be careful with the papers and the packages so nothing gets mixed up. It gets pretty hot in the afternoons, but we just keep the fans going and stay busy. We are just a local group of people trying to keep the courier service running smoothly for the neighborhood. Sometimes the deliveries are late because of the traffic on the main road, but we do what we can. It’s just a regular daily routine for us here in Jaffarpur More. We like the area.
