We have been operating Dtdc Courier & Cargo Ltd at 31/9 Bagha Jatin Road for a good while now. Dealing with packages and cargo here in Baranagar is mostly about making sure stuff gets from one place to another without getting lost. Most days, it is just us weighing boxes and filling out forms for people in the neighborhood. Calcutta is a busy place, and this part of town gets a lot of foot traffic because of the main road nearby. We see all kinds of things come through our doors, from small envelopes to heavy crates that take two people to lift. This isn't a fancy office, just a practical space where we keep track of tracking numbers and delivery times. Sometimes the printer jams or the internet is slow, but we usually figure it out and keep moving. People around here know where to find us if they need to send something to another city or even overseas. We spend a lot of time on the phone checking where trucks are. It is quite loud outside with the traffic, but inside we just focus on the stack of paperwork on the desk. This isn't some high-tech hub, just a local spot where the work gets done every day. We know the regulars by name and they know we're usually here until late evening. It is just steady work, keeping things moving through the system. We don't have much wall decor, mostly just calendars and maps.
