Dream Decor

If you find yourself on Kyd Street, look for No. 9/1. That is where we set up Dream Decor. It is a central part of the city, so there is always a lot of movement. Dealing with the things that make a house look like a home is our daily life. It might be some wallpaper, a bit of flooring, or just small decorative pieces. The shop is filled with samples. Binders full of patterns and shelves with different finishes line the walls. It gets a bit overwhelming sometimes, even for us. Much of our time is spent talking to people about their living rooms or offices. Every person wants something a bit different, and we just try to find what fits. We don't have a big corporate showroom. It is more of a practical space where we can show you what is available. Kyd Street has its own charm, being so close to the main hubs. Foot traffic is constant here. Sometimes people just walk in to get ideas. We have been here for a while and have seen the neighborhood change. The light in the shop is a bit dim in the afternoons, but it helps to see how the colors actually look in a normal room. Taking measurements, looking at sketches, and trying to make sense of it all is how the day goes. It’s just a regular business day for us, surrounded by rolls of material and books. Jargon and sales pitches aren't used here because we prefer simple talk.
