Dr Soumitra Dutta Clinic is found at BK-349 in Salt Lake City. We are right by the 8 No Tank which is the main landmark most people use to find us. Salt Lake is a residential area with lots of blocks and trees so it can be a bit confusing if you are visiting Bidhan Nagar for the first time. The clinic is basically a converted space in the BK block. It is not a massive medical center with hundreds of rooms. It is just where Dr Soumitra Dutta sees his patients throughout the week. The Ireland area nearby is usually quiet except for some local traffic. Inside we have a small desk and some chairs for people to sit while they wait their turn. The walls have some old posters and the lighting is just standard overhead bulbs. We do not have a big team of receptionists or a complicated filing system. We mostly use paper records and keep them in cabinets behind the desk. Sometimes the wait can be a bit long if a consultation takes more time than expected but that is just how it goes. People from around Bidhan Nagar come here because it is convenient and they know the neighborhood. It feels more like a house than a cold office. We keep the windows open when the weather is nice to let some air in from the street. It is a very simple and straightforward place to get a checkup.
