Downer Edi Mining Mineral Technology

We are located over at T-11 in the Baishnabghata Patuli Township. It’s a quiet corner of Kolkata, near Panchasayar. Downer Edi Mining Mineral Technology is the name on the door, but inside, it’s just us working on technical stuff for the mining industry. Kolkata is a big city, but our little township feels a bit more relaxed. We spend a lot of time looking at data and technical drawings related to minerals. It’s not the most glamorous work, but it’s important for the mines. The office is usually quiet, except for the sound of the fans and maybe the tea lady coming by. We’ve been in this spot for a while now and we like the neighborhood. We don’t have a big sign out front or anything. Most of the people who come here already know where we are. We try to keep things organized, though papers do tend to pile up when a big project is running. Mining tech can be complicated, so we just try to break it down into steps we can actually finish. We aren't a massive corporate headquarters; we’re more like a specialized workshop where the thinking happens. We walk to the local shops for lunch and talk about the day’s problems. It’s a steady pace here, and we prefer it that way instead of rushing around constantly. It works for our small team.
