Our place is situated on Dwijen Mukherjee Road in Parnasree Pally. If you know the Behala area, you know it can get pretty crowded and loud during the day. We’ve been here at 9/12 for quite a few years. It’s a typical Kolkata office, maybe a bit cramped with all the metal cabinets and folders we keep around. We work on various projects, mostly relating to water treatment or industrial needs. We don't spend much time talking about our work in a grand or impressive way. We just show up every morning and do whatever is required for that day. Sometimes the heavy monsoon rains make getting to the office a real challenge, but that’s just part of life here in West Bengal. The staff here is a mix of older folks who’ve seen it all and some younger people who are still learning the ropes. We don't have a lot of strict rules about how the office should look, as long as the work is getting done on time. You won't find any polished corporate slogans or mission statements on our walls. We’re more likely to have a tea stall calendar from three years ago still hanging up in the corner. We handle problems as they come up. It’s practical work meant for practical people. Most of our neighbors know us as the quiet lot who tend to stay late. We like it that way. Just a local business keeping things moving in Behala without making any big scene about it.
