Doctors Point

Doctors Point is up on the 1st Floor at 24, Raja Subodh Chandra Mullick Road. We are right above the United Bank of India, the Jadavpur Branch. It’s a well-known spot in this part of Kolkata. You have to walk up the stairs to get to us. Once you are inside, you’ll find a long hallway with different rooms where the doctors sit. It’s a bit of an older building, so it has that classic Kolkata feel to it. We spend a lot of our time managing the flow of people coming up from the street. Jadavpur is always humming with energy, and our windows look out over the main road where the buses and rickshaws are constantly passing by. We have a lot of files to keep track of because so many different doctors use the space. It’s a lot of writing in ledgers and making sure the lights in the hallway are working. The waiting area is simple, with rows of chairs and maybe some old newspapers on the table. We don't try to look like a fancy hospital. We are just a place where people can come to see their doctor in a central location. We keep the fans going to deal with the heat and try to keep things moving as fast as the doctors allow.
