Diya Clinic

Diya Clinic is located on 32 A Taruliya Main Road here in Kolkata. If you’re familiar with West Bengal, you know how these main roads can get, especially during the monsoon. We are just a small clinic sitting on the side of the road. Inside, it’s mostly just the essential stuff. We have a couple of rooms and a small area where people sit before they see the doctor. It isn't a massive medical center with hundreds of workers. It’s just a handful of us. We see a lot of people from the Taruliya area. Most of them are our neighbors. We talk about the weather or the traffic while they wait. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but the place is clean and does the job. We don’t have those fancy automated systems. We write things down and keep our own records. Sometimes the noise from the traffic on Main Road comes inside, but we’re used to it by now. It’s just a part of being in this part of Kolkata. People come in for checkups or when they aren't feeling well. We don't make a big fuss about things. We just open up in the morning, see who's there, and help out how we can. It’s a modest place for the local folks to come when they need to. There is no corporate polish here, just a simple clinic on a busy street.
