Our business, which we just call Dil, is located at 7A Harisava Lane in Kolkata. The zip code is 700060. If you know Kolkata, you know the lanes can be narrow and tucked away. Harisava Lane is one of those spots that feels very much like the old part of the city. We’ve been here for quite some time. It’s not a huge office building, just a regular space where we conduct our daily business. We didn't want a fancy name, so we just went with Dil. It’s short and easy to remember. Inside, it’s mostly just us working on whatever projects are on the table that week. We don't have a marketing department or anyone to write fancy speeches for us. We just handle things as they come. The neighborhood is full of life, with people walking by and the usual sounds of the city right outside the window. Sometimes it’s a bit cramped, but that’s just how it is in this part of Kolkata. We like the location because it’s where we started and we know the people around here. It’s a simple operation. We don’t make big promises or use corporate jargon. We just do our work, talk to our customers, and try to keep things moving forward. It’s an honest way to spend the day. There is always tea around and someone to talk to, which makes the work go by faster in Harisava.
