Dikai International

Shyamnagar Road is where we’ve been based for quite a few years now, specifically at number 79. Dikai International isn't a massive operation with hundreds of people in suits. It’s just a small group of us handling various trade tasks and making sure shipments get to where they’re supposed to go. Sometimes the yard gets really crowded when the trucks arrive, and we have to scramble to get everything unloaded. The office itself is pretty plain. We’ve got some old desks, a few computers that have seen better days, and a lot of filing cabinets. We don't really do much in the way of fancy decorations because we’re too busy with the day-to-day stuff. Most of our morning is spent on the phone or checking emails from people in different time zones. It can get a bit confusing sometimes, but we’ve gotten used to it over time. We don't have any big brochures or a marketing team telling us what to say. We just try to get the work done as honestly as we can. People in the area know us as the guys who deal with the overseas stuff. We’ve seen the neighborhood change, new buildings going up and old shops closing, but we’re still here at the same spot. It’s practical work. We just show up, deal with whatever problems come our way, and try to keep things moving. There’s always a bit of paperwork to finish or a driver waiting for a signature. It's just how the business goes.
