Diamond Group

Diamond Group has a spot in Subhaspalli, which is on the north side of Dankuni in Hooghly. It’s a busy industrial and transport hub, so there are always trucks moving around. Our location is fairly easy to find once you get into the Subhaspalli neighborhood. We operate out of a modest building that serves as our base for all the different things we manage. It’s not a polished environment by any means. There’s usually some dust from the roads and a lot of noise from the nearby railway lines. We spend our hours coordinating various tasks and talking to people who come in for work. The office has seen better days, but it’s sturdy and gets the job done. We have a few desks and a lot of ledgers to keep track of. Being in Dankuni means we are right in the middle of a lot of trade, so there’s rarely a dull moment. We don’t use any fancy systems or have a marketing team. It’s just a handful of us making sure the business stays on track. Sometimes we sit outside when the weather is nice, just to get away from the paperwork for a minute. It’s a practical way of working, focusing on what’s right in front of us. We’ve been in this part of Hooghly long enough to know how things work around here, and we like the local feel of the place.
