Our office is tucked away at 4/21 in Rajendra Prasad Colony, right in the Tollygunge area of Kolkata. If you know this part of the city, you know how the streets can get. It’s 700033 for the mail. We’ve been operating out of this West Bengal location for some time. It’s mostly just us sitting around desks, handling the daily flow of logistics and shipping documents. The fans hum all day because the Kolkata heat is no joke. We don't have a big fancy lobby. It’s a functional space where we track packages and talk to drivers. Sometimes the tea man comes by and that’s the highlight of the afternoon. We see a lot of different people coming through the doors. Some are regulars from the colony, others are just passing through for business. We spend a lot of time on the phone or typing away at keyboards. The files are stacked up on the shelves because there is always something to keep track of. It’s a bit cramped when we have a lot of deliveries arriving at once. We just focus on getting the work done and making sure everything moves from point A to point B. It’s a lot of coordination and basic hard work. Nothing too complicated about how we run things here. We just show up, do the job, and go home like everyone else. We know the local routes well.
