Our place is on New Parnashree Road in the Behala area of Kolkata. Subrato Banarjee is the main guy here. It’s a local office where we handle a lot of logistics work. The street is usually pretty busy with people and rickshaws. We are at number 4. Inside, it’s mostly just desks and stacks of papers. We don't have fancy furniture. It’s all very functional. We spend a lot of time checking on shipments and talking to the customs folks. Logistics can be a bit of a headache with all the rules. We try to keep it simple. We use the computers mostly, but we still have a lot of notebooks for quick jottings. The office gets a bit warm in the afternoons. We have a couple of old fans that do their best. We’ve been part of the Behala neighborhood for a while now. We know the local shops and where to get the best tea in the morning. It’s not a high-pressure environment, but we stay on top of our duties. We don't use a lot of marketing talk. We just tell people what we can do and then we go ahead and do it. Sometimes there are delays beyond our control, and we just explain what's happening. We’re just regular people working in a regular office. It’s a steady life and we are happy to be here.
