Design Conjurers

We've been up here on the second floor of Fern Road for a while now. It’s a busy spot but we like it. Most people just walk past the entrance, but if you head up the stairs to number 7/1, you’ll find us. It’s mostly just a few of us sitting around desks with coffee. We spend most of our time on computers doing design work. Sometimes the internet acts up, but we get things done eventually. It started as a small idea between friends and just kind of grew. There isn't much fancy furniture here. We have some old chairs and a lot of sketches pinned to the walls. People usually call us when they need something visual made, like a logo or some drawings for a project. We don’t do big fancy presentations. We just talk about what you need and then we try to make it look right. Sometimes we stay late when a project is due, and the street downstairs gets quiet. It’s a bit messy in here with all the paper and cables, but that’s how we work. We know the neighbors around Fern Road pretty well. If you’re looking for us, look for the sign that’s slightly crooked by the door. Sometimes we look out the window at the people walking down Fern Road. It’s a good way to take a break when our eyes get tired from the screens. We’ve been in this specific spot for about five years. The landlord is okay, but the pipes in the bathroom make a weird whistling sound. We just ignore it now. It's just a regular workplace doing regular things.
