Depot Officer

I’m the Depot Officer here in Garia. My office is care of Dilip Naskar at Chotobattala. We’re on Nafar Chandra Naskar Road, which is quite close to the Garia Station Road area in Kolkata. This part of the city is always moving, and being near the station means there's a lot of traffic and noise. The office is a small, practical space where we manage the depot's activities. We keep track of the goods coming in and going out of this area. It’s not a fancy place at all. It’s just a room with some old desks and plenty of paperwork. Kolkata weather can be tough, especially during the monsoon, but we keep the depot running regardless. We handle the local logistics and make sure the supplies are where they need to be. Most of our day is spent talking to drivers and checking off lists. We are a small team and we’ve been at this address for a long time. The 700 084 area is our home base. We don't have a big marketing budget or a shiny storefront. We just focus on the daily tasks of being a depot office. It’s a bit messy sometimes with all the files, but we know where everything is. You can usually find me here from morning till evening making sure everything is sorted correctly. It is just a straightforward job in a very busy corner of the city.
