Decor India

Our office is tucked away on the first floor of Park Centre, right on Park Street. Suite 142 is where we spend most of our time. It’s not a huge space, but we’ve managed to fit in all our samples and desks. Decor India has been running out of this building for some time now. Park Street is always crowded, so getting in and out can be a bit of a headache during rush hour. Inside the office, things are usually a bit cluttered with fabric swatches, catalogs, and sketches pinned to the walls. We don't have a big team, just a few people handling different parts of the business. Most days involve a lot of phone calls and checking on orders. Sometimes the hallway outside is louder than the office itself because of the other businesses nearby. We usually have a radio playing in the background to keep things lively. If you visit, you might have to step over a few boxes because deliveries come in almost daily. We try to keep the coffee pot full, though it runs out fast. It’s a practical workspace, not a fancy gallery. We focus on getting the details right for the people we work with. The windows look out onto the street, so we see the city moving while we’re busy inside. It feels like a real part of the neighborhood, sitting here among the bustle of the city center.
