Darks Security Consultant Pvt Ltd has its main office at 9A Marquis Street, right near Park Street. It is an old building with a lot of character, though the stairs can be a bit steep if you aren't used to them. This is where we handle all the back-end work for our security services. It is a busy place, especially on Monday mornings when all the supervisors come in to hand in their reports. You can hear the sounds of the city coming through the windows all day long. Marquis Street is always full of life, with food stalls and people rushing to get to Park Street. Inside our office, it’s mostly desks piled with folders and a few old computers. We’ve been here for many years, so the walls have some scuffs and the furniture is well-worn. We don't have a flashy reception area; usually, you just walk in and someone will look up from their paperwork to help you. We spend a lot of time on the phone coordinating with guards at different sites or talking to clients about their needs. It gets quite hot in the afternoons, so the ceiling fans are always humming. It’s a real working office, not a showpiece. We like being in the heart of the city because everything is close by, even if the traffic makes it hard to get around sometimes.
