Damodar Ropeways & Const. Co. (P) Ltd. is based out of North Kolkata, specifically at Shanti Bhawan on B.T. Road. Our office is F-302, which is part of the 48 / 4B block in South Sinthee. It is a very busy part of the city. If you know B.T. Road, you know there is always a lot of noise and traffic. Our office has been here for years, and it shows. It is a place that feels lived-in, with lots of old files and project maps pinned up. We do a lot of construction and ropeway projects from this location. It is the kind of place where the ceiling fan is always clicking and someone is always drinking a cup of tea. We have a lot of history in this building. The people working here have been with the company for a long time, so we all know each other well. It is not a modern glass office; it is a practical workspace for real construction work. We handle the planning and the logistics for projects all over. Sometimes the humidity in Kolkata gets to us, but we keep the work moving. People know where to find us if they need to talk about a project. We do not have a fancy reception desk. You just walk in and talk to whoever is available at their desk.
