Daffodil Group is tucked away in Kolkata. The address is C/O Dr. S.P.Singh 16/2A/H/17 Shibtolla Lane Beliaghata, Kolkata-700 015. Finding Shibtolla Lane can be a bit of a trick if you aren't from around here. It’s one of those narrow Kolkata lanes where you have to watch your step. We are there with Dr. S.P. Singh. It’s a very local feel, nothing like those big office buildings in the newer parts of the city. Beliaghata has its own character, and we are right in the middle of it. The office is small and filled with books and files. We don’t have a fancy sign, just the name Daffodil Group. It gets quite humid in the summer, so the fan is always humming in the background. We spend our days handling whatever comes through the door. It’s a bit crowded inside, but it feels like home to us. People in the neighborhood know the building. We’ve been at 16/2A/H/17 for some time now. We don't do much in the way of advertising or anything like that. We just exist here in this lane in Beliaghata. It’s a quiet life for the most part, apart from the sounds of the street outside. Kolkata 700 015 is where we belong. It’s just a group of us working in an old lane. We usually drink a lot of tea to get through the day and keep our spirits up.
