D. Ratan & Co. is located at Plot No. 22/1 on Bidhan Sarani Road. Bidhan Sarani is one of those old, classic streets where there’s always something happening, and we’ve been part of that for a good while. Our office is a traditional space that feels like it’s seen a lot of history. We deal with trading and commercial supplies, which involves a lot of paperwork and talking to various vendors. The building itself is older, with high ceilings and that specific feel you only get in this part of town. We aren't interested in being the most modern or flashy company out there. We just focus on the stocks and the orders that come through our door. Sometimes the street outside is so loud with the trams and the crowds that we have to shout a bit to be heard, but that’s just life on Bidhan Sarani. We have a small staff who have been with us for years, so we all know how the system works without having to explain it much. We keep our ledgers and our files organized in the old-fashioned way mostly. It’s a steady business that relies on being here every day and taking care of the customers who have known us for a long time. No fancy websites or big claims, just a solid presence on a busy road.
