D. K. Instruments Pvt. Ltd.

We’ve been here at 76/2 Salimpur Road in Dhakuria for quite some time now. Most days start with opening up the shutters and getting the desk cleared off before the phones start ringing. Being D. K. Instruments Pvt. Ltd. means we deal with a lot of technical stuff every day. It is not always glamorous. Sometimes the office gets a bit crowded with boxes and paperwork that needs sorting. We spend most of our hours looking over instrument specs and making sure everything is in order before it goes out. The road outside can get pretty noisy with the local traffic, but you get used to it after a while. Most of the people working here live nearby, so we know the area well. We don't have a big fancy reception or anything like that. It is just a place where we get the work done. Usually, lunch is just someone bringing in food or grabbing a quick bite from the shop down the street. We try to keep things organized, though some days it feels like the files are taking over the room. If someone stops by, they usually find us busy with a calibration or checking a ledger. It’s just how it goes here in this part of town. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a bit, but our routine stays mostly the same. Just regular people doing a regular job with instruments. It can get a bit humid in the summer months, but we have a couple of fans that keep the air moving.
