Operating out of No. 121 Chittaranjan Avenue is always an experience because of how much traffic goes by outside. Crystal Logistic Cool Chain Private Limited sits right opposite Md Ali Park, which is a nice view when we actually get a second to look out the window. Our work is mostly about timing and temperature. Since we handle the cool chain side of things, we are always worried about the power staying on and the trucks arriving when they are supposed to. It is a lot of logistics work, which mostly means staring at schedules and talking on the phone to drivers who are stuck in some jam somewhere. The building here is old, like most things on Chittaranjan Avenue, but we have made it work for what we do. It’s a busy atmosphere with people moving in and out all day long. Across the street, the park is usually full of people, but inside here, it’s all about keeping things cold and moving them fast. We don't really have time for fancy decorations in the office. It’s just rows of desks, some computers, and a lot of maps on the wall. Working in logistics means your day never really ends when you think it will. There is always one more delivery or one more shipment to track before we can finally lock up and go home for the night. We just try to keep everything moving as smoothly as the city allows us to.
