Our shop is on Ganesh Chandra Avenue at number 36. It’s a busy street and there is always something going on outside our door. Inside, the space is packed with all sorts of items that we’ve collected over time. It can feel a little cramped because we try to fit as much as possible on the shelves. We spend a lot of our time organizing things and helping people find something that fits what they are looking for. It isn't a high-end boutique; it's more of a local spot where you can find something practical or a bit different. We do a lot of packing and wrapping, so there are usually bits of ribbon and paper behind the counter. Some days are quiet and we just sit and wait for someone to walk in, while other times it gets quite hectic. We’ve been here long enough that we know many of the regulars who pass by every day. The building itself is older, and sometimes the lights flicker, but it has character. We don't use any fancy sales tactics. We just show people what we have and let them decide for themselves. It’s a simple business run by people who enjoy being part of this neighborhood and seeing someone walk away with a box in their hands. We don't have a website or anything like that, just the shop on the corner.
