Westinghouse Saxby Farmer Ltd.

Our workshop is located at 17 Covent Road and it has been standing here for many years. Westinghouse Saxby Farmer Ltd. is the name painted on the gate, but most people around this neighborhood just know us by the shape of the building. Inside the workshop, it is usually very noisy with the sound of metal being worked on and the old machines humming in the background. We handle a lot of mechanical parts and repair work that takes a steady hand and a bit of patience. The concrete floor is stained with oil and there are heavy tools scattered across the benches. It’s not a quiet office job at all. We wear our overalls every day and usually go home with our hands covered in grease. Some of the equipment we use is probably older than the youngest staff members, but it still works perfectly fine if you know how to handle it right. Covent Road is a bit tight for the bigger lorries that come to pick up finished parts, but we make it work with a bit of maneuvering. We always have a tea break in the morning where everyone sits around on crates and talks about the work left to do. Sometimes the spare parts we need take forever to arrive and we have to improvise to keep things moving. It is a solid place with people who have been doing this for decades. We don't bother with fancy decorations or office plants.
