Jitsan Filter Industries

Up here on the 5th floor of Commerce House, it’s always busy. Jitsan Filter Industries is tucked away in Room 8B. Getting up here can be a bit of a wait if the lift is acting up, which happens more than you’d think. We are right on Ganesh Chandra Avenue, so the noise from the street never really stops. You can hear the horns even this high up. We deal with all kinds of filters here. The room is a bit cramped with boxes piled up to the ceiling sometimes. It’s just across from Sardar Market and near Nai Sadak, so there are always people moving about outside. We spend most of the morning answering the phone and checking the inventory. It gets stuffy in the afternoon, so we have a small fan that rattles a lot. Sometimes people come in looking for a specific part and we have to dig through the back to find it. It’s not a big corporate office or anything like that. Just a couple of desks and a lot of filter stock. We’ve been in this building for a good bit of time now. The hallway outside is narrow and usually has some crates sitting there. We just try to keep things organized so we can find what the customers need without too much trouble. It is a bit of a squeeze but we make it work every day in this busy building.
