At Cm Flowmeters (India) Pvt. Ltd., we are located at Plot No. 2 in Phase-III of the Kasba Industrial Estate. We’re right near the EM Bypass, which makes it easy for trucks to get in and out. This is an industrial area, so there’s always the sound of machinery and work going on nearby. We make flowmeters here, which means there is a lot of metalwork and assembly happening on the floor. It’s not a clean-room environment; it’s a place where things actually get built. The office part of the building is just a few rooms where we handle the billing and the drawings. We have a decent amount of space on the plot, but we use most of it for storage and the production line. Working in Kasba means you get used to the industrial pace. It’s not like a city office where everyone wears suits. We wear practical clothes because things can get a bit greasy or dusty. The bypass is always jammed with traffic, so we usually try to get an early start to beat the rush. We’ve been at this plot for a while and have seen the estate change quite a bit. There’s a lot of hard work involved in what we do, and we just focus on getting the meters built and sent out to the customers who need them for their factories.
