Classic Corporation is up on the second floor at 7, Red Cross Place. The building has seen better days, honestly. The stairs are high and there’s that old smell of paper and dust everywhere. We’ve been here for a while now. Most people come here for business stuff, not just to look around. It’s a lot of desks and some old filing cabinets that we probably should have replaced ten years ago. We handle a lot of the day-to-day trade things that keep local shops running. It’s not a flashy office with glass walls or anything. We have some fans, a couple of computers that work most of the time, and a small area where we keep the samples. Most of the morning is spent answering the phone or talking to people who come up the stairs looking for specific orders. It’s a regular routine. We start at ten, maybe a bit later if the traffic is bad near the crossing. Everyone knows everyone around here. You go down for a smoke or a tea and see the same faces every single day for years. That’s just how it is in this part of town. We don’t try to be anything we aren't. It’s just work. Sometimes the paperwork piles up and we stay late, but mostly we head out when the sun goes down and the street lights flicker on.
