City Packers & Movers

Our office is over at 46 Canal West Road in Shyambazar. We are right near the Dn 18 bus stand, so there's always a lot of people waiting around outside. It’s a lively spot to be in. City Packers & Movers has been operating from here for a while. It’s not a polished corporate office. It's more of a place where we keep our supplies and coordinate where we need to go next. There are rolls of tape and boxes lying around sometimes. We are usually busy talking to people or checking on the trucks. The canal is right there, and the traffic near Shyambazar is something you just learn to live with. It gets loud with all the buses and horns. We drink a lot of tea while we work. The space is small but we make it work. Most of the people who work here live nearby. We know the shortcuts around the city because we spend so much time on the road. When things are slow, we sit by the door and watch the crowds at the bus stand. It’s a very local atmosphere. No one wears a suit here. We wear what’s comfortable for moving things. It's a simple setup at 46 Canal West Road. We just do the work and try to stay out of the rain when it pours. It's dusty and loud but it's where we've built our daily lives. We wouldn't know what to do in a quiet office.
