You can find Balaram Hosiery at No. 156/1 on Cit Road, specifically in Scheme 7-M. We have been working from this spot for quite some time now. The building is usually full of the hum of machines and the sound of people moving boxes around. We deal with hosiery, so there is fabric and thread everywhere you look. It’s a practical space, meant for work rather than looking pretty for visitors. We don't have a big showroom with bright lights. Most of our space is taken up by the production and storage of the goods. Cit Road is always busy, so there is a lot of energy around the building. We start our days early to get a jump on the orders. It’s not a corporate environment at all. We are mostly family and long-time workers who have been doing this for years. We wear casual clothes and don't worry much about titles. If a box needs moving, anyone picks it up. If a machine needs a quick fix, we handle it ourselves. We don't spend money on fancy brochures or big ads. Most of our business comes from people who have known us for a long time. It’s a straightforward way of doing things. We make the products, we pack them up, and we send them out. That’s the daily routine here in Scheme 7-M. We just keep doing what we know.
