You can find us at No. 32 Chorwringhe Road. It’s an old part of the city, and the building reflects that. Fortune Alloys & Metals isn't some new tech company. We deal with heavy things. The office is tucked away in a spot that’s seen better days, but it’s sturdy. There’s always a bit of a metallic smell in the air around here. We handle a lot of orders for different types of alloys and metals. It involves a lot of weighing and checking specs on old clipboards. We don't have a big reception area with a coffee machine. If you come to see us, you’ll probably find us sitting at desks covered in invoices and metal samples. The windows are a bit dusty because the street outside is always busy with trucks and buses. We’ve been operating from this location for quite some time now. We know the other businesses on the street and we all sort of look out for each other. Sometimes the phone rings off the hook and other times it’s quiet enough to hear the old clock ticking on the wall. We don't use much in the way of fancy software; we prefer to keep track of things in a way we understand. It’s practical work for people who don't mind getting their hands a bit dirty. We just keep the inventory moving and try to stay on top of the paperwork every single day.
