Chopra Motor Accessories

It’s usually pretty loud outside on A. J. C. Bose Road, especially by Mallick Bazar. We’ve been at 37B for a while now. The shop is filled with all sorts of things for cars, mostly stacked on shelves or sitting in boxes behind the counter. Most mornings start with a cup of tea while we move a few items around to make space. It gets dusty because of the traffic, so we spend a fair bit of time wiping down the glass. People come in looking for specific things, sometimes we have them right away and other times we have to go looking in the back. The fans are always running, but they don't do much when the humidity hits in the afternoon. We mostly just keep busy with whoever walks through the door. It isn’t fancy here, just a lot of metal and plastic parts in a spot where people know to find us. Sometimes the neighbors pop in to chat about nothing in particular. It gets crowded when a delivery arrives because the boxes take up the whole floor for a few hours. We try to keep things organized, but it’s hard when you have hundreds of small bits and pieces to track. By the time evening comes, the streetlights are on and we start thinking about closing up. It’s just how things go here at Chopra Motor Accessories. It's a steady life and the road never really stays quiet for long.
