Chhabi Consultancy Service is based in Shaybajar. It’s an old part of the city with narrow streets and a lot of history. Our office is tucked away in a spot where you can hear the sounds of the market and people shouting to each other. We do a lot of paperwork here. People come in with forms and questions about things they need help figuring out. We spend most of the day looking at documents or talking on the phone to various offices. It’s the kind of place where there’s always a stack of papers on the desk that needs attention. Shaybajar is a crowded area, so getting here can take some time if you’re driving. Most people just walk or take a rickshaw. The room we work in is small and filled with files. We’ve been here long enough that we know the shopkeepers nearby and often grab tea from the stall on the corner. It isn't a high-tech office. We have our pens, our ledgers, and a couple of old chairs for visitors. The work is mostly about being patient and getting the details right. Sometimes the rain makes the street outside a bit messy, but we stay inside and keep working through the files. It's a steady pace, nothing too fast or too slow, just the regular daily grind of a local consultancy. We keep the window open when it isn't too noisy outside.
