If you’ve ever been down to N S Rd near the Calcutta Gpo, you know how loud and crowded it gets. Our office is on the 2nd floor, rooms 4 and 17. It’s an old building, the kind where the walls are thick and the stairs are worn down in the middle from years of people walking up and down. Ceebuild Company Pvt Ltd has been operating out of here for a long time. The rooms are filled with metal filing cabinets that groan when you open them. We have a lot of old records because that’s just how we do things. It’s not like those new offices in Salt Lake. Here, you can hear the trams and the shouting from the street all day long. We mostly deal with building materials and project stuff. There’s always a stack of invoices that needs signing and someone is usually looking for a missing file. The light in room 17 flickers sometimes, but we haven't gotten around to calling the electrician yet. We just work through it. People come in and out, mostly regulars who have been doing business with us for decades. We don't have a website that actually works or any fancy brochures. We just talk to people, write things down in ledgers, and make sure the orders get delivered to the sites. It’s a bit chaotic, but it’s our version of a workday in this part of the city.
