Our place is located over at B-143, Type II, in the CPWD Government Quarters in Regent Colony. Tollygunge is a familiar part of Kolkata, and being here in the 700040 area feels quite settled. Cci Logistics Ltd. has been operating from this spot for some time now. It’s a quiet enough area for the most part, though the traffic outside can pick up during the morning hours. We don’t have a big flashy sign or a glass building. It’s just an office where we handle the logistics side of things. Most of what we do involves coordinating shipments and talking to drivers on the phone. It can get a bit loud in the office when everyone is talking at once, but that is how we stay on top of the schedules. We’ve got some old wooden desks and a lot of registers that we still use because sometimes the computer doesn't feel reliable. Working out of the government quarters gives the place a very specific feel, not like those new tech parks. It’s just us doing the work, making sure things get from point A to point B without too much of a headache. Sometimes we grab snacks from the local stalls nearby when the afternoon slump hits. We know the neighbors and they know us. It is a straightforward operation here in Kolkata. We just try to keep things moving along without a fuss.
