Our focus is on international cargo, which involves a lot of tedious work with customs and different shipping lines. It is not the kind of job that looks good in a movie, but it is what we are good at doing. We don't have a big, shiny lobby with a receptionist. It is just a room full of people who know how to handle files and talk to port officials. Working in Kolkata means you have to be patient and understand how things move slowly sometimes. We don't make big promises that we can't keep. We just do the daily work. Sometimes there are delays at the port or issues with a ship, and we just have to sit down and figure it out. Our office is usually full of the sound of keyboards and people talking over each other. It’s a very real, human environment. We know our regular clients well, and they know they can just call us up without any corporate filters. We don't have any slogans or missions.
