Out here on Becharam Chatterjee Road in Behala, things move at their own pace. Our spot at 44C is usually cluttered with rolls of plastic wrap and piles of empty boxes waiting to be filled. If you know Behala, you know the roads can be a bit narrow and crowded, so we have to be smart about how we park the vans. It’s a lot of physical work, and by the end of the day, everyone is pretty tired. We don’t bother with the corporate talk because that doesn’t help move a heavy wardrobe down a flight of stairs. It’s more about grit and just getting the job done right. The humidity in Kolkata really gets to you when you’re packing up a whole house, so we take our breaks when we can. We’ve seen all sorts of stuff, from fragile old china to big heavy beds that don't want to fit through doors. Sometimes things are a bit chaotic, and the floor is covered in bits of tape and paper, but we always clear it up eventually. It’s a simple operation run by people who live nearby. We don't have a shiny website or a PR team. It’s just us on the ground in Behala, dealing with the daily grind and making sure the trucks are loaded up before the rain starts. We just get on with the packing and moving without any fancy promises.
