Calcutta Paper Industries

Our office is up on the ninth floor of the Landmark building on AJC Bose Road. It’s a big building, so we are way up there overlooking the street traffic. We deal with paper, mostly in bulk or for industrial use, which is why the name is what it is. It’s not a retail shop where you’d buy a single notebook, but more of a place where we coordinate orders and talk to suppliers over the phone. Being in the Landmark building means we see a lot of the city from our windows, especially during the sunset. The space is filled with samples of different paper weights and types piled on the tables. It’s a lot of phone calls and paperwork, ironically enough for a paper company. We’ve been operating out of this AJC Bose Road address for quite some time. The ninth floor can feel a bit removed from the street noise, which is nice when we’re trying to get things organized. It’s a functional office, desks everywhere and stacks of folders that probably need sorting. We don't really go in for fancy decorations or expensive furniture. People come here to discuss business details or check on their deliveries. It’s a straightforward operation. We just focus on the paper trade and making sure the inventory moves like it should. Getting to 228 AJC Bose Road is easy enough, though the parking around here can be a real headache during the afternoon hours. We just do our work and go home like everyone else in the building at the end of the shift.
